Susanne Kurdahl Vesterheden
"Coral Landscape 2" A Pink And Yellow Contemporary Landscape By Susanne Kurdahl

2014

About the Item

Introducing the beautiful "Coral Landscape 2," a large and joyful abstract landscape by Danish contemporary artist Susanne Kurdahl Vesterheden. Susanne's brushstrokes blend deep yellow, nuanced pink, fresh greens, and a hint of azure blue to create a harmonious yet energizing symphony of colors in this layered landscape. Each area presents a diversity in haziness and playful imitations of form, making it intriguing but with a tranquil feel. The unframed dimensions of the painting are 100cm x 100cm / 39.3in x 39.3in. To complement the bright colors, the painting carries a white painted vintage frame and is ready to hang. It is signed on the reverse side of the canvas, dated '2014,' and titled 'Coral Landskab 2,' directly translating to 'Coral Landscape 2' from Danish. Susanne Kurdahl Vesterheden is a contemporary Danish artist who spends her time in two ateliers, one in Copenhagen and the other in the beautiful countryside of Tuse Næs, Denmark. Abundant landscapes with wildflowers and breathtaking ocean views have always been Susanne's wellspring of inspiration. 'Coral Landscape 2' showcases her signature style, where she skillfully embraces various abstraction levels and (floral) seasonality, confidently mixing seasonal colors together in the aim of exploring a harmony anew. As Susanne puts it; "It's all about adding something - like a color - and creating a fresh harmony among the things you already have."
