Another splendid impressionist painting by one of Britain's best loved Painters. A beautiful sun drenched scene of Washerwomen on the banks of the River Paillon at Nice in the South of France. He has the wonderfully drawn figures in the foreground with the Bridge and the town in the background with the Mountains beyond. Terrick Williams loved to paint on the continent - the light was stronger and it suited his painting technique. We have a copy of the book "Mist and Morning Sunshine" by Caroline Simon, which sums up this painting beautifully, copy included with the painting. .
