"Fishing Village", original oil on board

About the Item

"Fishing Village" is a mid century oil on board representing a number of fishing sharks on a beach. Executed with broad brushstrokes and palette knife, it depicts three weathered buildings, one missing a roof, built along a shore. It is signed illegibly in orange to the lower left and dated “62”. It is mounted in a wide wooden frame with gilt trim and is wired for hanging. Minor nicks and wear to the frame but the artwork is in good shape.
