An atmospheric study of a woodland waterfall, cascading in soft sunlight. Well presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame with fine running patterns. monogrammed to the lower right 'N Y Taylor' and dated August 1895. On canvas on stretchers.

    The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some surface discolouration and fine craquelure. The frame is in good condition. Several moulding losses have been re glued to rail and the frame has been given a coat of gilt-effect paint.
