About the Item
Oil on Canvas.
The vertically developed landscape features an imposing ruined architectural structure in the center, overgrown with weeds and presented in blurred colors and strokes, as if to emphasize its decay.
In front, in the foreground and well defined, some figures of shepherds at rest while cows graze: a shepherd plays the flute, the second, sitting leaning on his staff, observes the third, which undressed, he is intent on washing, stretched languidly on the shore of the waterhole.
To the left is the glimpse of rocky peaks, gray under a sky of dawning atmospheres.
The restored and rtieled painting is presented with a lath frame.
