While at ASU, he was awarded accolades including the Benjamin Wong Fie Scholarship, Eirene Peggy Lamb Scholarship, and the Gerry Grout Award. Fischer then attended the Art Students League of New York's residency program where he received the Ruth Katzman Scholarship. In 2016, Fischer had his first solo exhibition in New York, Between Light, at Island Weiss Gallery and has since notably participated in Into the Night: Contemporary Art and Nocturne Tradition at the Tucson Museum of Art. "White Blossoms and Green Grass" is a contemporary impressionist view of a lush field in Australia. Emily Persson is a Melbourne based artist who has been creating oil paintings with a palette knife for three years. Emily is a multi-generational artist with roots in Brisbane, Australia. Although an avid hobbyist painter her whole life, Emily found her style and her new career in 2016 when she began painting landscape, seascape and floral still-life paintings inspired by her surrounds in Queensland. Emily decided in late 2017 that she would give away a successful corporate office job and pursue her life long dream of becoming a full time artist.
