A group of wispy trees are blowing in the breeze at the top of a hill. The hillside is composed of green and yellow grass with large boulders. Off to the right, the ocean stretches out to the horizon, with soft pink and white clouds above. Signed in the lower left corner (#56 Ken Lucas") Dated on verso ("#56 4/'94") From a collection of the artist's works. Unframed. Canvas size: 24"H x 36"W Ken Lucas was a school teacher and amateur painter from Monterey, California. He was primarily self-taught but became proficient as an artist and left a legacy of excellent paintings. He was a friend of and painted with Richard Lofton, a well known Carmel Artist.
