"Late Sun" - Carmel by the Sea California Original Oil French Impressionism Thick impasto and textured oil on linen circa 1962 by California artist Harry B. Lachman (American, 1886 - 1975). Besides being an American Impressionist, Harry was a honored French Impressionism artist as well. Lovely scene of Carmel by the Sea California of cottages and trees on a quiet lane. Some minor bowing of the canvas due to age and the heavy paints he used.
