Michelle received a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas, Austin in 2007, with concentrations in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Serigraphy. Early exhibit highlights include group shows in Denver and Dallas between 2008 and 2010, a solo show in Boulder, Colorado at the Dairy Center for the Arts in 2011, and additional group shows between 2012 and 2014 in Houston, Texas. The two major bodies of work produced during those years, totaling 30 large scale oil paintings have been purchased by collectors in both Colorado and Texas, while a series of 100 smaller works in acrylic and oil have been sold locally and shipped to locations around the United States. More recently, in mid 2018, she returned to painting with a fresh perspective, venturing for the first time into abstraction. In 2020, Michelle showed with Mirus Gallery and 40 West Gallery in Denver winning ‘Best in Show,’ and an ‘Artistic Award of Excellence,’ with 40 West. Michelle’s work was featured in the Spring 17 Edition of ArtMaze Magazine, an international publication produced in the UK, and was included in ‘I Like Your Work Podcast’s summer exhibition titled ‘Congruence,’ curated by Bridgette Mayer with Bridgette Mayer Gallery. Michelle’s work was selected for an online show curated by artist Charlie Roberts for GIFC Worldwide, and was included in another online show titled ‘Artwork from Home,’ featuring work by artists from around the world, created during the pandemic, with Art Gym Denver in July. Her work was also selected by Max and Tanner of ‘The Tax Collection,’ for special mention with Create Magazine, online and on social media in September. Three large scale pieces were exhibited in a second 40West Gallery ‘Abstracts’ show at Colorado Mills between September 2020 and February of 2021.

- PVB-7600 - Contemporary Abstract Collage Painting, purple, brown, blueLocated in Signal Mountain, TNPVB-7600 is part of Eric Mack's ongoing body of work utilizing multi-media, complex compositions, and a grid centered around urban design. Using a grid to create the framework of the painting, Mack has utilized paper adhered by a matte medium to create graphic imagery of text and color blocks on top of a canvas dyed in ink. This painting is gallery wrapped with canvas on top of stretcher bars. Mack's paintings have been described as "intellect on top of emotion". Eric Mack (b.1976, Charleston) creates mathematically based renderings with a distinct post-modern twist. Works are informed with super imposed grids, patterns, and portals. Layered surfaces are created with paint, found objects, natural fibers, and synthetic substrates that explore the systems of our visual world. Collections include High Museum Atlanta...Category

- Phenomena Greet by Day by Paul Jenkins - Abstract Expressionist paintingBy Paul JenkinsLocated in London, GBPhenomena Greet by Day by Paul Jenkins (1923-2012) Acrylic on canvas 146 x 114.3 cm (57 ½ x 45 inches) Signed lower right, Paul Jenkins Executed in 1994-1996 Provenance: Private collection, New York (acquired directly from the artist) Stern Pissarro Gallery, London Private collection, Netherlands Artist biography Born at Kansas City in Missouri (USA), the multi-media artist, poet and playwright Paul Jenkins studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Art Students League in New York City. After his discharge from military service at the end of February 1946, he briefly studied playwriting with dramatist George McCalmon at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh. Thereafter, Jenkins spent four years studying with Japanese American artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi in New York City. His first solo exhibitions were held at Studio Paul Facchetti in Paris in 1954 and the Martha Graham Gallery in New York City in 1956. Over the past thirty years, numerous retrospectives have been curated across the globe and Jenkins’ work can found in national collections from Europe and the United States to Israel, Australia and Japan. The diversity of his work springs from Jenkins’ wealth of eclectic influences. Some of his earliest works included what he called "interior landscapes" influenced by ancient natural forms like the caves he visited in the Ozark Mountains in his native-Missouri. Frequent student visits to the Frick Collection in New York fostered a love of the great masters: Bellini, Holbein, Vermeer, Rembrandt, de la Tour, Turner and Goya. In compliment, lingering student visits to the renowned Eastern collection of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City evoked powerful sympathy for a monumental Chinese fresco...Category
