On the back, an exhibition label with the title in ink and a handwritten annotation in pencil with the name and address of the painter: "M. Pavil 22 r de la Tour d'Auvergne Paris"
Circa 1930
Another painting representing a naked woman entitled "Martiniquaise " was sold for 4,200 euros excluding auction fees (Ader sale, Paris, 06/08/2013, n°198, 66 x 55 cm). This painting is dated 1931 which allows us to put forward a date circa 1930 for our painting.
