Oil on canvas by Fortunato Pirazzini (1907-2003), School of Paris, ca.1950. "Sleeping woman, Nude". Measurements : with frame : 56x71 cm - 22x28 inches
without frame : 46x61 cm - 18.1x24 inches. Format 12P. Signed "F.Pirazzini" lower left and titled on the back (see photos).
Fortunato Pirazzini was born in 1907 in Bagnacavallo, an Italian commune in the province of Ravenna in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. He emigrates to France in 1937 and will therefore be called Fortuné. He exhibits regularly at the Salon des Independants. In 1987, he bequeath to the Museum of Bagnacavallo a set of paintings whose self-portrait below. He died in 2003.
