Male Nude in a Landscape, 1918, Oil on paper, signed and dated (lower right), 58cm x 41cm, (66cm x 49cm framed). The work is framed behind museum quality non-reflective UV glass.
A Czech painter known for vibrant landscapes, intense portraits and interior scenes, this work evokes early 20th century Romanticism, placing a nude young man into a wonderful natural scene. The condition of this work is good, although there is some minor paper loss at the edge of the picture, which is visible in the images.
