Prefer to call this piece - Lady in Yellow) Size/Sight: 24.5"x27.5" Frame: New Custom Floating Frame - Black with gold trim (adds approx. 4” to each side – so artwork with frame measures about 29”x32”) Media: Oil on Canvas; No Known Issues Excellent Condition (direct from the artist) Condition: No Known Issues Comments/Other: Bio as of 2001 - Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1947, Al Lofsness was educated at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He graduated in 1970 with a B. F. A. degree in painting. He married in 1972 and has two adult children. His early career was in commercial art as a creative director, art director and designer. In 1999 he left the applied arts and began painting in oil, full-time. His current themes: women, women's issues and mythology are popular with a diverse audience. His painting style often uses elements from folk, classical, and modern painting. Since 1999 he has sold over 300 paintings to collectors in the United States, Europe and Australia. His hobbies include: travel, collecting art, good books, and restaurants. This piece has been hung and admired for decades, on an off-white wall where the colors and black frame just pop!
