Midcentury harlequin painting by listed Italian artist Armando Gentilini, (1908-1981). This beautiful doe-eyed harlequin will brighten up any contemporary interior. This is an exceptional 1950s oil painting. Original oil on canvas. Dimensions: 14" x 18". Period frame dimensions: 19 1/2" x 23". Very good vintage condition with minimal spots of paint loss, and a past professional repair (see pics). This is Classic 1950s! A most charming and colorful child surrounded by a fantasy landscape of orbs and ribbons. This colorful painting will surely be the topic of many conversations. Roseleen was exposed to art from a very young age; Her father being an artist himself enrolled her in the popular Nike Art Gallery at a very young age to learn traditional Adire making, a skill she still practices to date. This was how she started art professionally and she has been getting better at what she does since then.
