About the Item
This oil on canvas painting is of an agricultural worker in the Hudson Valley. The artist painted migrant workers on a farm in this series of works. His smiling face is a sharp contrast to the fact that he's working. Beautiful colors, such as royal purple, pale yellow, and sap green envelop the painting in warmth. This piece is sold signed in the back and sold unframed.

Barbara Masterson
Barbara Masterson’s work is in private and corporate collections in the United States, Italy, and Germany. She has participated in juried, solo, and group shows throughout the United States. Masterson earned an MA in education from SUNY New Paltz, and taught art for many years. In late May 2015, while painting en plein air on a local farm, she began adding migrant workers to her work. Masterson maintains a farm and studio in the Hudson Valley.
