A 8.5” x 10.5” x 1” Surrealist Acrylic Portrait Painting by artist Christopher Polentz. A certificate of authenticity will accompany the piece upon its purchase or delivery.
The Beetle: Early one morning, while shoveling out the elephant corral, we found Mack sleeping comfortably in a fresh pile of warm manure. Being such a small and personable little guy (no bigger than a grown man’s hand), we put him in charge as curator of our Museum of Miniature Curiosities.
Chris Polentz graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1985. After working as an illustrator for 20 years he studied at Syracuse University earning his Master’s degree. Polentz has taught at Art Center, Mira Costa College, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and Palomar College. He currently teaches at Irvine Valley College.
