A 14” x 16” x 1” Magical Realism Acrylic Portrait Painting by artist Christopher Polentz. A certificate of authenticity will accompany the piece upon its purchase or delivery.
The Little Strongman: This photo of Marlowe and Mr. Puffers, his pet puffer – fish, was taken last season during our East Coast Tour the morning of their drowning. Through officials categorized the incident as “accidental”, the entire Company view the double drowning as high suspicious and unlikely accidental as both Marlowe and Mr. Puffers were accomplished swimmers. But, Marlowe’s spirit still travels with us as does Mr. Puffer’s… Management had a really cool parlour lamp made out of mr. Puffers.
Chris Polentz graduated from Art Center College of Design in 1985. After working as an illustrator for 20 years he studied at Syracuse University earning his Master’s degree. Polentz has taught at Art Center, Mira Costa College, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and Palomar College. He currently teaches at Irvine Valley College.
