A beautiful and delicately rendered oil on canvas of a pensive flapper girl in a bright flowered sun dress by the noted female artist and illustrator Edna Crompton.
This was presumably proposed but seemingly not used as cover art for The Redbook Magazine, the artist found frequent commissions as a cover artist there in the 1920s. Crompton also worked prolifically creating calendar art glamour images throughout the 1920s.
