"Icon VII" is part of an ongoing series of portraits after the Minoan Snake Goddess figurine. This oil on canvas painting is warm in tone. The Goddess's skin seems to glow against the textured yellow background. She wears a headpiece engraved with three circles, equal in size. Her lidded gaze seems to pass right through the viewer.
