Born in 1969 in Melborne, Australia, Cate Blanchett studied at Australia's National Institute for Dramatic Art, graduating in 1992. Her U.S. film debut was in 1997's Paradise Road and she's gone on to star in a number of lauded projects, including The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Aviator, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and two films about Queen Elizabeth I. In 2005, she won an Academy Award (best supporting actress) for her role as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator. She received another Oscar in 2014, this time for best actress for her performance in Blue Jasmine (2013), and has earned further acclaim for her role in 2015's romantic drama Carol.


Jack Graves was born in 1988 in Jacksonville, FL. He spent much of his adolescence in his father's art gallery, Graves International Art, surrounded by a diversity of artworks from Albrecht Durer to Andy Warhol. He began producing works from an early age, and later studied art history and fine art at The Blue Ridge School, Newcastle University in England, and Hampden-Sydney College.

At The Blue Ridge School Graves won the Departmental Award for his art​.​ ​During his tenure at Newcastle University he was selected to produce the artwork for the Annual Ball​. ​​A​nd​,​ at Hampden- Sydney College​,​ he was commissioned to create the cover art for their annual book of poetry, "The Garnet".

Since 2011, Jack has exhibited in ​Manhattan​ and ​on ​both coasts of The United States. Also, recognized in Germany, France and England, his works ​are now in collections​ internationally.​

In recent years Graves has ​been engaged in commercial projects ​produc​ing album cover artwork for musicians and creat​​​ing​ large scale murals for businesses and corporations.

Working in his studio, he is diligently honing his skill and attention towards a new art form, “Eclecticism”. Graves states, “An “Eclecticism” work uses two or more different art styles, some from the past, incorporating new ones I develop for the future, presenting a totally new original artwork.”. Graves seeks to unveil this new series of iconoclastic works, "The Icon Series" by early 2017.
