Elvis Aron Presley (1935-1977) was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".
Jack Graves III is an American artist, born in 1988 in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up surrounded by inspiration having an art dealer as a father, John Graves Jr., who founded 'The Collector's Exchange' in St. Augustine, FL in 1978, (today Graves International Art). At the age of 5, his family moved away from urban Jacksonville, Florida to rural Somerset, Virginia. There, he grew up in the country attending and graduating from Grymes Memorial School in 2003 winning the Art Departmental award. He then attended The Blue Ridge School for four years, an over 100 year old all-male boarding school, also winning the Art Departmental award there out of the entire student body in 2007. Upon high school graduation, he attended school abroad for a year studying art at the University of Newcastle, UK and then back to the United States to finish at Hampden-Sydney College, VA. He would be recognized for his art at both of these colleges. A large photograph portrait of Graves working in the college's art studio whilst an art student hangs today within the ground floor of the famous Bortz Library at Hampden-Sydney College.
After college, Graves took his talents into the art world working in Charlottesville, VA. He mainly works in acrylic painting, but also some pen and ink works on paper. He is predominantly represented by his father's gallery operated by his father John Graves and brother Alex Graves, Graves International Art in St. Augustine, FL, though regularly participates in shows and exhibitions among other galleries along the United States East Coast. His work is featured on the two most exclusive online art marketplaces, 1stdibs and Artsy. During the course of 10 years, Graves has created over a handful of painting series: “Abstract”, “Americana”, “Aura”, “Diamond”, “Eclecticism” (Supreme), “Rorschach”, and most notably his very popular “Icon” series. Since 2011, Jack's work has been placed in private collections around the world from New York to Hong Kong. He has placed work in private collections in over 35 states in the US and almost 20 different countries worldwide. Notable acquisitions include “Princess Diana Icon III”, 2019 which was placed into The Princess Diana Museum, Los Angeles, CA and “The Venus of Alexandria Icon (Yves Klein)”, 2019 was placed into a private collection within the Qatar Royal Family.
Today, he lives and works in Jacksonville, FL.

- At the SpringBy Joshua ShawLocated in New York, NYJoshua Shaw was a farmer’s son, born in Billingborough, Lincolnshire, and orphaned at the age of seven. After a boyhood of privation, he tried a number of occupations, until he finally apprenticed to a sign painter and found his métier. Shaw went to Manchester to study art, and by 1802 was in Bath, painting landscapes. In that year he began to exhibit his work at the Royal Academy in London. Essentially self-taught, Shaw achieved an impressive level of competence and versatility, producing portraits, floral compositions, still lifes, landscapes, and, cattle pieces. Shaw continued to send works for exhibition at the Royal Academy, the British Institution, and the Suffolk Street Gallery, all in London, until 1841. (Although Shaw is regularly mentioned and frequently illustrated in a host of general books on American art history, as well as included in numerous historical survey exhibitions, the only monographic study of this artist is Miriam Carroll Woods, “Joshua Shaw [1776–1860]: A Study of the Artist and his Paintings” [M.A. thesis, University of California at Los Angeles, 1971]. Apart from short biographical sketches in various dictionaries and museum collection catalogues, the two most interesting references, both contemporary, are John Sartain’s personal recollections in The Reminiscences of a Very Old Man, 1808–1897 [1899; reprint 1969] and an article in Scientific American from August 7, 1869, “Joshua Shaw, Artist and Inventor.” The article quotes extensively from an autobiographical document in the possession of Shaw’s grandson that Shaw prepared for William Dunlap...Category

Becker - whose work was first published in Andy Warhol’s Interview in 1973 - was born in 1954 and raised in New York City. In the mid-1970s, he moved for a year to Paris, where he was mentored by his hero, Brassaï. Upon return to New York, Becker drove a cab, toting his camera and parking to complete magazine assignments. A 1981 exhibition of Becker’s work at New York’s Rentschler Gallery included a series of arresting images of patrons taken inside the kitchen at Elaine’s, the storied hangout on New York’s Upper East Side. This exhibition, curated by art director Bea Feitler brought Becker to the attention of Frank Zachary, editor-in-chief of Town & Country. Zachary invited Becker to work for the magazine, where the young photographer further developed his passion for journalistic portraiture alongside Slim Aarons, who, after Brassaï, became Becker’s guiding light. Becker was then enlisted by Bea Feitler to contribute portraits to the prototype of Vanity Fair’s 1983 re-launch. His participation led to a highly prolific association with the magazine as Contributing Photographer, continuing to this day. Becker has also contributed portraits and reportage to The New Yorker, Vogue, W, The Paris Review, amongst truly most major publications. In complement to his editorial work, Becker has accepted a limited number of private and family portrait commissions each year, some accompanied by privately published books, and in the course of his three-years-long project for the Rockefeller Foundation, Becker documented its vast array of philanthropic grant recipients on four continents abroad. Six trade books comprised entirely of Becker’s photographs have been published including Bright Young Things...Category

- THE WALL - Atmospheric Modern Women Portrait, Contemporary Figurative PaintingBy Marzena ŚlusarczykLocated in Salzburg, ATThe patient waiting for Bresson's “decisive moment” characterizes the pictures of the young Polish painter Marzena Slusarczyk. The compositions of her works have the magic of a successful photography.
