Kaspars Perskis (1975)
was born in Riga, Latvia. This is where he studied painting and was granted a master’s degree at the Art Academy of Latvia in 2006. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1994, and his works are part of private collections in Latvia, Russia, the USA, Japan and several countries of Europe.
They are not only the mysterious character portraits that create the special feeling about the artist’s work but also the expressive thematic compositions that linger throughout the changing era. The unifying motive in the paintings is a human whose emotions and experience in the abstract environment are captured as a meditative reflection, thus creating this special surreal feeling in the timeless dimension of the existence. A neutral observer has a chance to encounter an ironic eagle wearing a medal, a cylinder hat and a coat, as well as to slip into the theater backstage of another era, or to meet a girl in the shape of a mannequin.

Juris Zvirbulis was born in 1944 in Riga.
1970 graduated from the Riga Secondary School of Applied Arts decorators department.
1971 Member Artists' Union of the Latvia.
In 1971 First solo exhibition in the artistic and historical museum of Tukums in Latvia.
In 1974 his illustrations for the A.S. Pushkin's book, "Eugene Onegin" (published Liesma) was awarded at the 7th All-Union competition of books, posters and postcards design (Moscow, USSR).

1976 - First place in the All-Union Exhibition of Young Artists in Moscow
1983 - Solo exhibition at the Museum of Foreign Art (Riga, Latvia)

In 1958 he graduated from the Riga Art School of J. Rosenthal, in 1964 Art Academy of Latvian State, painting department, Head of the diploma work "Working in the forest" E. Kalninsh.
He participated in the exhibition since 1966.
Member of Artists Union of Latvia since 1970. From 1993-2000 member of the Association "B13".
He worked as a teacher at the Riga 19th school and in the 17th evening high school (1961-1965), in the Riga Art School of J. Rosenthal (1965-1981), worked at the Arts Academy of Latvia since 1981 - in charge of Department of Painting (1993- 1998), professor since 1993. From 1997- 2000 Professor at the Evangelical Lutheran Christian Academy of Latvia.
At the end of the 60s, in the 70s painted many figurative compositions of the historical genre. Reborn impression of cubism, painted still lifes and landscapes.
