"Obsession" is an expressionist portrayal that captures the intensity of fixation through chaotic yet deliberate strokes. The warm palette of amber, crimson, and burnt sienna contrasts with dark, tumultuous undertones, reflecting the fervor and turmoil of an obsessive state. Each brushstroke contributes to the overall dynamism of the portrait, where facial features are both concealed and revealed within the abstract forms. This piece communicates a powerful emotional narrative, showcasing the artist's ability to convey deep psychological landscapes through the medium of abstract expressionism.
About the Artist:
Masri is a passionate Italian, US-based artist whose work has been exhibited in the USA, the UK, Germany, Lebanon, Italy, and Norway. His work is varied and known especially in Europe and in Major collections - Ellen DeGeneres, Ringo Starr, Al Gore, and many more. Harnessing an insatiable desire for artistic discovery, innovation, and perfection, he dives into experimentation with openness and enthusiasm. As a result, his works are bright, expansive, and bold. Masri has developed a style that captures the Middle Eastern mood with a Lucien Freud brush touch. This style is completed with palette work, as the artist often goes into a trance-like state when creating these powerful expressions of the human experience.
Artist statement:
"I live four seasons every day - it is a humongous world of perceptions, conceptions, and achievements; a world of renewable psychological input and output fraught with flowing emotions, endurance, and pain. "
The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity and a letter of appraisal.

Masri Hayssam's artistic journey is a testament to his commitment to self-expression and exploration. He is a master of paintings of the raw human condition.

Extra-Large Dutch Contemporary Abstract Portrait By Hans Bouman
Located in Frederiksberg C, DK
An exquisite contemporary painting by Dutch artist, Hans Bouman.
In this painting Bouman creates a captivating interplay of colors and forms that gives rise to an enigmatic abstract face that invites interpretation and contemplation. This captivating large-scale abstract painting is a harmonious blend of warm white, earthy tones, invigorating orange, and calming blue hues.
Hans Bouman, born in the Netherlands in 1951, embarked on his artistic journey at the Amsterdam Graphic School and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts. During the early 1980s, Paris became his haven of inspiration, where his debut in galleries marked the onset of an international presence that continues to flourish.
Bouman's artistic evolution is characterized by cycles of creativity, but it is his larger-than-life hieratic heads that he is renown for. These remarkable pieces pay homage to influences as diverse as the Moai sculptures of Easter Island, the intricate masks of Africa...
