The work reflects the woman looking towards the horizon in a situation of contemplation so that nothing external distracts her encounter with herself.
Cultures that practice yoga or meditation understand that gaze, and others like me know the importance of a pause in moments of life where we get distracted by less important situations. A pause heals our soul and spirit.
Blue is my favorite color, this work corresponds to the "blues" series.
