About the Item

Salvador was one of Spain's first abstract painters, exhibiting work in this style as early as 1946 in Barcelona. Subsequently he went through many painting styles, from Fauvism to Post-Cubism until he published the manifesto of Apostist art in 1965. Subsequently, he has taken up the abstract style in some of his important artworks. The one presented here is a artwork of small size, but of extreme beauty and rarity. The artist has used color in multiple layers, creating points where the paint becomes sculpture. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity of the archive Salvador Aulestia, the only one authorized by the artist himself to confirm his works. Exhibited in Almach Art Gallery Milano during 2023 Hand-signed by artist, Certificate of authenticity Included (issued by authorized authenticating body) Image rights Luca Temolo The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Salvador Aulestia's archive in Milan, the only one authorized by the artist himself to authenticate his works. This artwork belongs to the Apotism, the particular pictorical style that was presented with the "Manifesto Apotista" by the author himself on May 15, 1965. Apotism is a name derived from Apotelesmatics (Apotelesmatics is in the plane of Telesma , which here means gnosis, transcendent knowledge). Apotism as an art concept is not a propaedeutic to painting, sculpture, architecture or poetry, rather a Cosmosemiological notion: Cosmos mathematical order, Semiology symbolic order; in practice: astronomical law combined with that of symbol. Apotism represents the shortest distance between idea and expression; it is an eternal art by essence or the eternal essence of art and has for its axiom the following theoretical message: "Marguerite contemplates the sea, the sun and an old man who contemplates the sea and the sun; but the sea, the sun and the old man, without Marguerite have no reality." Nietzsche in "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" has the latter utter, while contemplating the rising sun, "How great you are, but were it not for me watching you, you would be nothing." Marguerite is the "contemplator," a magical element that legalizes the sea, the sun and the old man. "The feminine," says Nietzsche, "is the counterpart of the utopian aspect of reality; that is, what nevertheless remains of magic. In Apotheosis, Marguerite represents precisely this kind of femininity. The axiom "Marguerite contemplates the sea" is the Cubic Stone of Apotism.

Abstraction 1919
By Carlos Tirado
Located in Atlanta, GA
Carlos J. Tirado (born on April 3, 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela) is an artist, painter and sculptor who has developed a very personal and precise line of work linked to Neo-Pop art. With plenty of personal art exhibitions, Tirado has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, receiving different awards such as “III Premio de Escultura” del Certamen Aires de Córdoba in 2004 and other recognitions, among them, at the Venezuelan Embassy in DC (2005), and the X Latin Art Festival of Atlanta (2005). Childhood Tirado grew up in an upper-middle-class family environment. His inclination for the arts started from an early age. At 8 years old, he was already experimenting with tridimensional forms, creating molds out of cast lead from pieces previously gathered on the streets. These first artistic experiences led by his inquisitive nature, provided the ground to continue exploring the possibilities with different materials like wood, waste and plaster. His childhood games were centered around painting and sculpting, which played an important role that ranged from recreational to aesthetics. When Tirado turned 12 years of age, his parents agreed for him to attend private art classes with professor Javier Hernandez in Caracas. Later on, he realized that Art was a profession that required investment in materials, reason that led him to work at a furniture store painting landscapes and figurative art to decorate the exhibit room. He created numerous paintings of Caracas’ famous mountain: El Avila...
