About the Item
This diptych is from my series investigating fear which I am undertaking as part of my MFA work. The figure is portrayed less abstractly as the other elements along the road go from things that could cause anxiety only to resolve into nothing to worry about along the road from "here" to "there". It is a study in vulnerability, resilience and perseverance. This piece is highly energetic, has great texture and composition and is composed of oil, oilbar, and spray layered archivaly. It is two panels each of which measures 60" h x 48" w, making the smallest width measurement 96" but it can be spaced out to fill a larger area.
