About the Item
Oil on canvas inspired by natural elements, current events and other observations. My abstract paintings are all about creating excitement for the viewer through concentrated exploration. Each painting is inspired by nature, travels, or imagination and created to embody immediate impact and lasting power. It is about creating a visual that has never been seen before. I want each painting to engage the viewer through it's own combination of color, motion and dimension. I want the viewer to have a sense of wonderment and curiosity. I want to involve the viewer through searching the variety of textures, dark and light passages and space within the painting. Are the colors connected? Do they hover above the surface, or streak across the surface? My goal in each painting is to urge the viewer to return to the painting and discover new associations with it.
