'Self Portrait as a Venetian Gentleman, elaborately and exquisitely painted by Adrienne Sherman in oil on panel with a lacquer-like luster. The original painting is rich and reflective. The painting is 14 x 11 inches unframed. It is framed in a painted black wood and it measures 18 x 15 1/4 inches. A delightful self portrait from the artist with her dog whose poetic and realistic works are at once modern, fresh and contemporary, while also offering a nod to past. Artist signed, titled, stamped in wax and dated. Painted in 1994. condition excellent and new.
