After graduation he worked in the field of Monumental Arts. Over the years Sheversky has had many exhibitions around the world. His paintings can be found in both private and public collections. From the artist: “When the sun is up in the morning in my window and the light falls on the objects in my studio, with it comes happiness, the life has come. Every morning I wait for this moment, but the time goes by and the sun goes on the other side of the building. Again I’m alone. Without the sun, it’s not fun working and I start to remember my childhood, it was so sunny and full of light. I was born in the South, in a small sunny town to a family full of artists. My first teacher was my father. Years have passed and I will always remember what I have learned from the old masters, Vermeer and Rembrandt.” “I have been well educated by the traditional European system. The paintings appeared for me as a result of spiritual consideration about the world and the place of the human being in it. The harmony of my artistic perception and execution gives my works integrity and makes them complete in themselves. Objects and things, apart from confirming or creating the beauty of form help to discover spirituality in the simple and simplicity in the complex”

Her brother as a baby would call giraffes “fa,” which is always a sweet memory she associate with this toy. Samantha Van Heest...
