About the Item
Work on canvas
This captivating still life features an understated ceramic vase, set on a delicate doily, housing a bouquet of vibrant flowers. The yellow, white and red flowers stand out against a peaceful interior background, highlighting the vitality of nature in an ordinary space. The reflection in the mirror behind the vase adds an intriguing dimension to the composition, creating a sense of depth and a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The artist has skilfully mastered the use of color and texture, lending the work an aura of tranquility and harmony. The precision of the doily detail and the rendering of the delicate petals testify to great technical skill. This work illustrates the finesse of a moment suspended in time, when the ordinary is transformed into a scene of timeless beauty.
