Born the 14th of february 1850 in Rouen.
Dead the 11st of October 1911 in Paris.
Painter of genre scenes, landscapes, marine, still-lives, flowers and fruits.
Pupil of Alexandre Cabanel (1823-1889) and Ferdinand Duboc (1813-1869), he was a member of the French Artist Society from 1874. He was awarded with a third class medal in 1898, a bronze medal in 1900 and second class medal in 1904.
In the end of his life, he devoted his painting to decorative painting, doing flowers panel of every seasons for the seventh district of Paris.
Museums : Some paintings are kept by the Museums of Louviers and Rouen

Eugène Henri Cauchois was a student of French artist Alexandre Cabanel. Cauchois specialized in painting still life, flowers and fruits, and landscapes. He exhibited widely with success and was a recipient of several awards. Cauchois passed away in 1911.

Raoul Victor Maurice Maucherat de Longpré was taught by his father the silk painter Jean Antoine Marie Victor Maucherat de Longpré (1815). According to the family tradition related to the industry of the silk trade of Lyon, he starts very young to paint fans before making true paintings. Consequently, he specialized in floral painting. At the 30 years age he leaves his hometown and started his career at the "Salon de Paris" in 1876.
