Jeff Legg's (US based) "Citrus and Ginger" is an oil painting created in 2024 depicting a white and blue pot alongside a sliced orange, grapes and ginger.
About the artist:
Jeff C. Legg was born in 1959 in Joplin, Missouri. By the age of 12 he was apprentice to a well-known regional artist and college art professor. This relationship laid the foundation for his painting and drawing skills. He went on to study at Atelier Lack and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
His luminous oils are often described as “Masterful” and are highly sought after in America and abroad. Among his notable collectors are astronaut Neil Armstrong, Hall of fame great George Brett, former Kansas Governor Bill Graves, UMB Bank and others.
Mr. Legg is recognized as a Master Signature member by the prestigious Oil Painters of America. His work has established national recognition and garnered numerous awards including the coveted Gold Medal at the OPA national exhibition.
His paintings have been featured on the cover of Southwest Art Magazine and Art Of The West as well as many other major magazines and books.
Mr. Legg's work can be seen in distinguished galleries across the U.S. He now resides in the northwest Arkansas Ozarks where he paints daily in his studio.
