A set of four fine hand painted botanical watercolour studies on silk by La Roche Laffitte. The works are signed bottom right and titled below three of the watercolours in Latin and Greek. The silk has been mounted on handmade paper with a gilt framing line and has hand finished edges.
Four beautiful yet simple paintings of wonderfully coloured fruiting plants executed with great precision and detail, delicately portraying each plant's leaf, flowering and fruiting parts.
