Louis Adolphe Tessier entered the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris. He was taught by Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824-1904).
He exhibited at the “Salon des Artistes français”, which he became member in 1905, getting a honourable mention in 1886 and a gold medal in 1909.
