This spring, the yellow dandelions were in full bloom on the green lawn in front of our house. How charming they are, not only when they are in bloom, but also when they have already flowered. Their fluffy white balls attract attention. But because of their fragility, it is extremely difficult to arrange them into a bouquet.
But I managed it. I simply collected dandelions that had already flowered and placed them in a vase of water. Overnight they turned into beautiful fluffy balls and I had to hurry to paint them. In this diptych, the bouquets are painted in different light. The light bouquet was painted at midday and the ochre-orange bouquet in the evening.
