Artist Statement
“Everything I have here is an ingredient or a utensil used to make kombucha. Well, maybe books are not that essential and neither are the big wooden spoons, but they look good in the composition. Well, I also did not show any scoby—a bacterial yeast culture which is the main ingredient— although one could argue that scoby was in one of the glass bottles before we used it to make our homebrew. That’s what my wife does. We have full shelves of homemade kombucha in bottles with all different flavors, suited for all different tastes. Great stuff, especially in the hot Summer.”
