Samuel Wilson (1986-Present) Texas Artist Image Size: 24 x 24 Medium: Oil "Feast" Biography Born in 1986 in Wicihta, KS, Sam is a self taught artist, growing up around art and starting out enjoying drawing. Throughout high school Sam took several art classes but was mainly focused in ceramics. It was in 2008 during a break from college Sam became more serious about art. He painted his first oil painting under the guidance of his father, a major influence in his art. Since then Sam has been painting and creating art, pushing and evolving his style and technique. The name "Spot Slim", which for a time was how Sam signed his work, originated as a name he used as a street performer. He still holds the name as a sort of brand for his other creative endevors. Sam currently creates and resides in San Antonio, TX. work is framed with black float frame.
