Popular Birmingham still-life painter, son of George and brother of Oliver. Exhibitor at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool between 1888 and 1897. His work can be found in the Northampton and Rotherham Museums.

Vincent Clare
Vincent Clare was a painter of fruit and flower subjects. He was born on December 13, 1855, in Birmingham. He was the son of George Clare and brother of Oliver Clare, who were also painters. Clare lived for most of his life in Southgate, London, although he was known to have exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool between 1888 and 1897. Of all the still life subjects Clare painted, his flower compositions are recognized as his strong point. Clare died in London in 1925.
