Classical still life featuring a Chinese vase filled with forsythia, grapes, citrus, a copper kettle and drapery on a wood table. Blue, yellow and reds against a greenish brown backdrop. "This painting is covered by a marvelous luminous shadow," explains Zhi. "Somewhere off to the left, a little more than halfway down, a dim light is perceived. As it moves to the right, it gradually grows brighter and brighter, then bursts into full intensity and is no more."
