"Desert Heat" is an extrqa-large abstract expressionist oil and acrylic painting on canvas by popular artist, Trixie Pitts. The palette is bright and muted at the same time, with bright pink, light pink, warm and cool greenish gray tones, translucent golden yellow, yellow, robin's egg turquoise, white and black. The soft and muted colors contrast with the bright pink imbuing a joie de vivre. The dynamic brushwork and daring color choices create visual excitement. A joyous, uplifting feast for the eyes!
