This painting started as something completely different, I wanted to paint a starry night on a beach which I was working from a photo, I worked on it for about 3 days and I was hating it more and more, then I started hating the photo. Taking a break I saw an article about the hot colors this year being honeycomb and indigo, suddenly I knew what I wanted in this painting and it was nothing like the photo???? and it was fast and furious and I loved it!!!! Sometimes creating art can be an agony and ecstasy experience, usually when you try something new.
