About the Item
'Bewitching Pool' is part of a series of paintings I am working on relating to the coast and rockpools. The last few years I have been researching, drawing and painting at low tide to collect visual information. The life of a rock pool is a fascinating one, full of colour, life and the rhythms of the sea. I am drawn to the elements that stay the same with each tide and the changes that occur.
