About the Item

In my work, I explore the tension and interaction between inner experience and physical form, with notions of depth and spatiality playing a central role. My artworks embody thoughts that resonate with a personal fascination with themes such as the world around us, the universe, and the small musings of daily life. These thoughts emerge from within, grow in my mind, and gradually take on their own dynamic life. From this evolving mental space, my ideas arise. Thoughts that, as visual concepts, find their way, through layers of materials, colors, and textures, I create depth within my work. Each piece evolves through a process in which shapes and ideas intertwine and unfold from one another. The space I generate within my work is not only a defined physical space, but also an invitation to enter the boundlessness of thoughts and possibilities. This approach results in a layered experience for the viewer, who is invited to navigate between the layers and discover something personal within. The subjects I explore through my art, are both universal and intimate, and each piece carries its own layer that goes beyond the surface. My intention is that these pieces, through their layering and spatial effect, not only challenge the viewer to visually dive into the work but also to mentally and emotionally relate to the world within it. Each artwork thus becomes a catalyst for a moment of reflection, a quiet dialogue with the invisible that lies beyond our perception. My studio functions as an extension of this internal process. Here, initial, often fleeting thoughts are concretized into tangible images as I experiment with contrasts and spatiality to create depth and movement. This method grants my ideas a certain freedom. The viewer can approach the work from different angles and in various ways, depending on their perspective and interpretation.
