Large Scale Limited edition black and white photograph, 40"x60" depicting an abstract waterscape of a wave in motion that has a painterly feel. In this black and white photograph, the artist has captured rich, dark tones, of the water contrasted against the clouds and foaming rush of the waves. The photographer Danny Weiss’s images capture the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines. In this series the waves crest, surge, and swell. The water foams up in the whitecaps and the primal, tangible, force of the water is palpable. Yet there is a peacefulness and inner awareness that the experience of these fleeting moments is universal.
This photograph is limited edition of 15 and is signed with a digital signature on the bottom right hand corner of the print along with the edition number.

Danny Weiss is a New York based photographer who who captures the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Weiss’s large scale color photographs of waves are replete in rich tones of magenta, fuschia, orange and blue. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines. In this series of contemporary color photographs, entitled “In the Deep,” the waves crest, surge, and swell.
