Large Scale Limited edition color photograph, 40"x60" depicting an abstract waterscape that has a painterly feel. Below a golden yellow sky, a wave is pulled back to shore, with lines of rose pink, deep blue, turquoise and warm white. The photographer Danny Weiss’s images capture the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Weiss’s waves are replete in rich tones of magenta, fuschia, orange and blue. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines. In this series the waves crest, surge, and swell. The water foams up in the whitecaps and the primal, tangible, force of the water is palpable. Yet there is a peacefulness and inner awareness that the experience of these fleeting moments is universal.

Danny Weiss is a New York based photographer who who captures the power and beauty of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Weiss’s large scale color photographs of waves are replete in rich tones of magenta, fuschia, orange and blue. The motion of the crashing waves contrasts sharply with the crisp horizon lines.
