About the Item
This incredibly rare photograph, attributed to Ansel Adams due to the Best's Studio stamp on the print verso, was likely printed in the 1930s. This print was originally included in a family album, alongside other Yosemite images from the early 1930s, next to another image by Ansel Adams. Given that this photograph is unsigned, it may have been printed by an employee of Best's Studio, similar to how Adams's later special edition prints of the 1960s and '70s were produced.
