Arthur Elgort is one of the world’s top fashion photographers and a lover of fashion, ballet, and music. He enjoys travel and always takes his camera with him. Elgort loves to shoot fashion because it is historical, ceremonial, and ritualistic; the same reasons he loves ballet. This shoot was at the Vaganova School in St. Petersburg, Russia where he has visited in the past and most recently in the Spring of 2006 for Vanity Fair.
