About the Item

"Divine Touch (The Touch of God)" 49" X 146" in Photography Ed. 1/1 by Ben Cope 2021 Photo on deconstructed paper 49.5” x 145.5” inch Comes in white frame and plexiglass Ben Cope is a Georgia native graduating from Columbus State University with a BFA in ceramic sculpture and photography. After receiving his degree he moved to the west coast to pursue a career in the photo industry. Currently Ben resides in Los Angeles focusing on fashion and fine art photography. Ben Cope deconstructs photographs of the human form. By stripping the body of personal identity, particularly gender, he creates images where the figure is solely reliant on the surface of the photo paper to remain relevant. The texture of the photos remains heavy while the body moves with ease in the background.
