About the Item
Jack Robinson photographed a model wearing Christian Dior haute couture in this once-in-a-lifetime shot in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles in 1959. Christian Dior himself had passed away in 1957, and his chosen successor, Yves Saint Laurent, was the head designer at the fashion house at this time.
