With her heavy fringe, kohl-lined eyes, pouty lips and seductive curves, Brigitte Bardot captured the sixties bombshell zeitgeist. Like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, her image not only portrayed an era but an ideal that has remained indelibly imprinted in popular culture. This photo of French actress Brigitte Bardot in Spain, 1971 was taken on the set of 'Les Petroleuses' a.k.a. 'The Legend of Frenchie King', a western comedy film directed by Christian-Jaque. While on the set of ‘The Legend of Frenchie King’, Terry O’Neill was doing a three part series on Brigitte Bardot. This was the last frame Terry had left to use on set.
